The
college has a general library, and it is not fully automated using Integrated
Library Management System. All P.G. Departments have Departmental Libraries
with adequate books. There is an advisory committee to look after the
proceedings of the library. This committee has regular meetings to discuss
issues of purchase, development and improvement of the general library.
Students are provided with the facilities of INFLIBNET and reprography. Total
area of the library is 372.0 Sq. Mtr. The library has separate reading rooms
for staff and students with internet access. The library is open to all from
10:30 AM to 5:30 PM on working days. The library has installed 05 computers set
with WiFi facilities for teachers and students to access INFLIBNET N-LIST which
provides 6000+ e journals and 3200000+ e books on various subjects and research
fields. The library invites list of books required from all the departments and
accordingly through quotations purchase of books is carried out as per
government norms. The library is situated on the ground floor with a ramp for
easy access for physically disabled students. Convenient and comfortable
seating arrangements are provided for the special students with physical
assistance if/when required. Visually impaired students are permitted for
having a reader.
